Media Release: Technical difficulties with checkout system
Massy Stores sincerely apologizes to our valued customers for the inconvenience caused today due to technical challenges with our front-end, checkout systems.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, all Massy Stores Supermarkets across the country are affected. These challenges impact our customer shopping experience as items cannot be purchased from our store locations or pharmacies at this time.
The Massy Stores technical team is working assiduously to restore functionality in the shortest possible time, while investigating the root cause of the issue. Customers will be notified when the system is fully restored at all stores.
Surepay and Moneygram customers are also advised to visit alternative locations to access bill payment and wire money transfer services.
Massy Card holders should also retain copies of their bills for which the respective Massy Points will be credited, as points will not be automatically added to Massy Card accounts at this time. Our curbside and delivery services have also been suspended pending the full restoration of the system.
