RBC Royal Bank Future Cash
This plan enables Associates to save towards retirement by contributing a percentage of their earnings monthly which also attains interest. This Plan is an Annuity, BIR Approved and is a Tax Relief/tax savings!
Portable Annuity Plan
- This is Employee Contributory only, where a percentage of the employee’s earnings are deducted monthly and remitted into their Portable Annuity Account. Massy Stores does not contribute to this plan.

Grocery Attendant – Cashier
This position will provide prompt, friendly, reliable service and assistance to customers at the check stand, creating a unique and satisfying shopping experience that will exceed their expectations.
Grocery Attendant – Wrapper
This position will provide friendly, courteous and helpful service and assistance to customers at the check stand, bagging groceries, and providing carryout service of customers’ purchases.
Grocery Attendant / Back-store Attendant
To keep grocery items stocked throughout the Back-Store to meet the needs of the Store and expectations of availability to the customer. Proper performance of the duties and responsibilities of this position contributes to providing a quality service experience for the customer.
Certified Meat Cutter
To provide quality customer service by cutting meat and preparing related products in the variety, size, quality, and trim prescribed by the company standards; to execute functions in an efficient manner within company policies and complying with all HSE requirements
Grocery Attendant / Replenisher
To keep grocery items stocked throughout the store to meet the expectations of availability by the customer. Proper performance of the duties and responsibilities of this position contributes to providing a quality service experience for the customer.
Perishables Attendant
To provide quality customer service by preparing and presenting products in the manner, variety, size, and quality prescribed by the Department Standards, in order to execute functions in an efficient manner within store policies. Greets customers and provides them with prompt and courteous service or assistance as needed.
Pharmacy Assistants
Pharmacy Assistants are responsible for assisting the pharmacist in providing medication and other healthcare products to patients, and to perform almost every other function in the pharmacy such as clerical tasks and record keeping, ordering and receiving of inventory, following policies and procedures to prepare routine prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist, maintaining and creating patient profiles using the Etreby Pharmacy System, maintaining inventory levels in Etreby, stocking and taking inventory of dispensary and over-the-counter medications, ensuring that equipment is maintained and kept clean at all times, ensuring that the pharmacy is clean and tidy, checking expiries on medications, and assisting with merchandising of products in the pharmacy.
Assisting with CDAP prescriptions and the day-to-day operations of the department is essential, leaving the pharmacist free for more critical operations (e.g. supervisory duties and patient care). Department cashing, and assisting with the stock taking exercise are also requirements.
Bakery Attendant
To provide quality customer service by preparing and presenting products in the manner, variety, and quality prescribed by the overall Bakery Standards, in order to execute functions in an efficient manner within company policies to meet customers’ needs and expectations.
Weekly Customer Service Training
Every week, all store staff undergo Customised Training to inform/remind them about the Company’s Customer Service Philosophy and our Standards of Success, as well as exploring the importance of their personal well being.
Weekly HSSE Training
All employees must be exposed to mandatory Health and Safety Training which seeks to explain the Company’s HSSE Management System as well the OSH Act 2004, and guide employees about how to be responsible for their (and their fellow Associates’) personal health and safety on the job.
Root Cause Analysis Training – For Managers and Supervisors
This course enables Management to understand root cause analysis as a procedure for ascertaining and analysing the causes of problems, in an effort to determine what can be done to solve or prevent them from occurring again.
Emotional Intelligence Training
Emotional Intelligence (EI) is vital to being an effective and high-performing member of any team. We believe it is important for business professionals to understand the connection between emotions and actions, and that the application of EI skills to their jobs will maximise their effectiveness.

How do I apply?
Application forms available online, at Stores, or at Head Office. For the Christmas recruitment an Ad is sent out with Recruitment dates. Presently in progress at Head Office until Nov. 30th, 2014. Recruitment however continues throughout.
How do I know what positions are available at a specific store?
When person attends the interview, the officers would be able to inform of such. At present all positions are available at store level.
