Massy Stores Supermarkets, widened the reach of the brand in Trinidad and Tobago, as the newest Massy Stores branch was unveiled at 48-50 Eastern Main Road, San Juan on July 13^th, 2022. The newly opened supermarket, formerly known as Diskomart San Juan, offers tremendous benefits to the customers and constituents of the Barataria/San Juan community including:

• A wide variety of quality meats, seafood, frozen items, and Ready to Go meals.
• Quality fresh produce, both local and foreign as well as a variety of healthy, organic and vegetarian items
• SurePay Bill Payment Services, Moneygram Money Transfer Services and checkout stations at the front entrance and back entrance of the store for ease of access to our customers.

In the opening ceremony, Roxane De Freitas, CEO, Massy Stores noted that one of the core corporate values of Massy Growth and Continuous improvement and the opening of Massy Stores San Juan was one of the ways in which the organization embodied that value.

She also noted that the company invested over TT$50 million dollars into rebranding, retrofitting, and upgrading the location to bring the Massy Stores shopping experience to the members of the San Juan community.

“A major contributor in the decision to open a Massy Stores in this convenient location was through consultation with the customers who wanted a wider variety of quality items. Also, customers were yearning for the Massy loyalty system to be introduced, so that they could earn and spend Massy Points, which was not previously available to customers,” she added.

The Minister of Parliament for Barataria/San Juan, Mr. Saddam Hosein who was also in attendance, thanked the Massy Stores team for bringing the full value of the brand to his constituents. He noted that the supermarket would be both a source of food as well as provide employment opportunities for the members of the community.
