We’re thrilled to announce that the Massy Women’s Caribbean Premier League (WCPL) smashed viewership records in 2023! With an incredible 36.2 million viewers tuning in worldwide, the excitement for women’s cricket is soaring to new heights!
The tournament witnessed a phenomenal 45% increase in viewership, with fans from around the globe captivated by the thrilling matches. From Barbados to Trinidad, the action was non-stop! The Barbados Royals claimed victory in an epic showdown against the Guyana Amazon Warriors, with the final match being the most watched of all!
Congratulations to all the outstanding players, including Sophie Devine and Shreyanka Patil, who showcased their talent on the grand stage! And let’s give a huge shoutout to Hayley Matthews for her stellar performance, earning her the Player of the Final title!
